Overview
Like every home page these home pages contain links to other pages;
that's what makes it a web, that's why it's called the Web.
My pages contain a number of different things;
a bit about me, a picture of me and my wife,
some pictures of the house we had built.
Then some information on my computer gear;
I've studied and worked with computers for over 22 years.
I make a (good) living in the software industry,
so my computer setup is close to my heart.
You'll find links to places with hardware, software and services I recommend.
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy I've taken to heart,
so I've got too many hobbies.
They range from collecting quotes
to reading and the
movies,
to simulations, roleplaying and wargaming.
Work is my religion, obsession and salvation.
Without it I'd just be obnoxious.
Without I get bored, and when I'm bored I get into trouble.
In these pages you'll find my illustrious professional history and links
to useful places and tools. My friends
are what makes life worth living.
Life would be empty without other people, honest!

I attended a bullwhip handling seminar given by Gery L. Deer in Ann Arbor, organised by a friend of mine who had seen Gery perform at a local Science Fiction convention. Since I have practiced diligently and acquired two more whips: it is boatloads of fun!
I have been running my new game settings, based on my serial campaign concept,
as well as have complete websites: ShadowWorld Mainline, ShadowWorld WWII and Grand Design.
I am working on a new current day ShadowWorld setting, with a new, entirely different cosmology.

Underworld, though laying claim to prior use,
was renamed to ShadowWorld in the summer of 2002,
to avoid confusion with earlier published role playing games with same or similar names.
It was moved to its own website.
